INDEXED UNIVERSAL LIFE DISCUSSION

The upcoming YCISG meeting via Zoom is scheduled for Monday, November 4th and will feature our highly anticipated discussion on Indexed Universal Life. Our guest speaker on the topic will be John Asfar of Penn Mutual.

Mr. Asfar currently serves as the marketing director for Penn Mutual’s Northeast Region and will provide a detailed overview of how IUL policies work from a mechanical perspective, where they fit into the life insurance landscape, and when it may be a better choice than Whole Life or when WL may be the better option. He may delve into Universal Life and Variable Universal Life options, and when and where those may be better choices than either WL or IUL.

Mr. Asfar has more than four decades of experience, and has worked with Prudential, Sun Life, Minnesota Life and American General before joining Penn Mutual. He has earned a Fellow Academy of Life Underwriting designation, as well as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
